How to choose a hard luggage

Luggage size

The most common sizes of luggage are 20 inches, 22 inches, 24 inches, 26 inches and 28 inches. Choosing the size of the suitcase mainly depends on personal needs: do you want to board the plane or check it? For one person or for the whole family?

Generally speaking, about 20 inches is basically no problem for short trips of 2-3 days or needs to be carried on the plane, and it is light enough; if it is about 5-8 days of travel, 24 inches is the most commonly used size. If you are traveling for a long time or studying abroad, you basically need a 28-inch size.

Material of luggage

There are two types of luggage on the market: hard luggage and soft luggage. The material of the hard case includes hard metal (aluminum alloy, aluminum-magnesium alloy) and hard plastic (ABS, PC, PP, etc.). The material of the soft box is soft fabric, such as nylon, canvas, etc.

The advantage of the hard case is that the protective effect of the case on the luggage is obviously stronger than that of the soft case, but the capacity is smaller than that of the soft case under the same size. The advantage of the soft case is that the surface of the case is elastic, and more items can be stuffed into it.

Wheel

Wheels are the most easily worn parts of luggage, and most luggage now use universal wheels, which can rotate freely 360 degrees horizontally. Therefore, it is recommended to choose TSA locks in one step when purchasing, which is convenient for going abroad.
